CHICKEN MARSALA- ONE PAN SKILLET MEAL

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pound chicken breästs ( cut in hälf änd pounded to 1/2" thick 8 pieces)
  • 12 ounces Crimini Mushrooms, sliced 
  • 1 smäll Shällot, Minced
  • 1/3 cup Dry Märsälä Wine
  • 1/3 Cup Chicken Stock
  • 1 Täblespoon Minced Tärrägon
  • 1/2 Teäspoon Sält
  • 1/2 Teäspoon Pepper
  • 5 Täblespoons Butter
  • 5 Täblespoons Olive Oil

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. First Cut the chicken breäst in hälf then pound it to 1/2" thick. Or buy chicken tenders to säve time.
  2. Mince gärlic pläce in ä bowl.
  3. Mince shällots pläce in ä bowl.
  4. Seäson chicken with sält änd pepper, then dredge chicken in the flour, shäke off excess. (Säve 1 täblespoon for thickener)
  5. Heät 2 täblespoons olive oil änd 1 täblespoon butter in ä heävy bottom skillet to medium high heät.
  6. Working in bätches ädd chicken cooking for 3-4 minutes per side (turn only once) until golden brown. 
  7. Remove chicken to ä side pläte once done.
  8. ädd 2 täblespoons olive oil änd 2 täblespoons butter, melt then ädd mushrooms änd säute until golden brown änd softened for äbout 8 minutes. Tränsfer to pläte with chicken.
  9. Heät remäining oil, ädd gärlic änd shällots änd cook äbout 1 minute. Stir in remäining flour cook for 2-3 minutes more.
  10. ädd märsälä, scräpe up the browned bits from the bottom then ädd stock, whisk änd cook for äbout 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  11. Return chicken änd mushroom to the pän änd cook for 3-4 minutes more. Remove from heät, ädd läst of butter, stir.
  12. Finally Täste säuce, seäson with sält änd pepper to täste änd gärnish with fresh tärrägon änd serve immediätely.
